I spent the day in Basingstoke, Hampshire, on a site visit, reviewing the existing lighting locations to ensure alignment with my design plans. This was particularly important as we are modifying some off-site work to include a new cycleway for the development.
Afterward, I visited Bloor Homes offices in Newbury to meet clients I’ve collaborated with for decades—many of whom I had only spoken to via Teams until now. It was a real pleasure to finally meet Adrian Hicks (Regional Technical Director), Simon Jane, Jordan Reimnitz-wood, Matthew Rutter, Martin Hall, and the rest of the team in person.
It was a long but rewarding day—made even better by the sunshine and the chance to connect with one of my favourite clients.
